Back to School

The boys and I went back to school last week. Renn is going to Spring Creek, which is the 6th grade center and Zayvn is still at Four Mile. Both had really great weeks and the mission transition Renn did in August really helped with him entering middle school. His teacher recognized him from after school assistance at Four Mile so he was happy about that. He has joined the science club which is every Tuesday after school. It's going to be a great year for him.
Zayvn is doing great too. He loves the fact that I work in the kitchen at his school. He has already made friends with my boss Becky! I make sure to go out and say hi to him at every lunch. He has started the week of well and looking forward to a great time at school for him as well.
I am enjoying my new job at Four Mile. It's been a little bit of a transition from the high school but one I like well. Only one main dish served rather than five and it's a much slower pace. Not sure I'll want to go back to the high school! I start a half hour later than my other position so I use that time to go into Zayvn's class and do some volunteer work. I enjoy doing that as well. Working at Four Mile is also giving me an opportunity to see many other of the children's faces who come or have come to our church. Plus, those elementary kids are still so sweet and nice!
